African women especially American black women need to stop and recongnize that the natural hair that is cruel and straight comes from our African ancestory and its most beautiful in its natural state. When I throw the comb away i became liberated and free in my mind to be who the creator made me to be. natural happy to be nappy tress of locks that I enjoy wearing and the freedom of my own self expression became my own orginal styley. Women who look to European standards of beauty really are confused and in serious denial of who they really are. Beauty is an inside job for me the older I get the more assure I”ve becoming into my own. Love is mutifacet and its a beautiful thing when we as black woman love ourselves as the LORD IMAGE.
People dog African Amer. women about their hair to no end. They are not the only ones to wear fake hair. White men, white women, Asian gieshas, they ALL wear fake hair, except African American women are the only ones that are chastised for wearing it. When people stop making “hair” an issue, perhaps the popularity of it all will wear down.
Be more concerned with what is IN her head, not ON it.
just because someone arent natural doesnt mean thy are confused i love my weave but i also love my real hair cuz its more versatile but i also like to do other things with weave tht my natural hair cant do and that doesnt make me confused nor ignorant it just makes me who i am with an opinion same as it mkes you
